Employee Clarification Text On Personal Data Protection and Processing

With this awareness, we attach great importance to the processing and protection of the personal data of real persons who want to work within the Company and who apply for a job in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law“), the secondary regulations (regulations, communiqués, circulars) put into effect and to be put into effect depending on the Law and the decisions taken and to be taken by the Personal Data Protection Board of a binding nature. With the full understanding of this responsibility, as “Data Controller” as defined in the Law, we process your personal data as explained below and within the limits ordered by the legislation.

  • Carrying out employee satisfaction and loyalty processes,

  1. Methods of Collecting Personal Data and Legal Reasons 


Your personal data; It is collected verbally, in writing or electronically by the Human Resources Department, the General Directorate and the real or legal persons processing data authorized by the Company, by means of automatic and non-automatic methods such as e-mail, telephone, website, various contracts, forms and minutes kept in paper environment.  


In this context, your personal data of special and general nature are processed and collected in the following ways: 




Identity Ad surname, mother-father name, date of birth, place of birth, marital status, identity card serial sequence number, Turkish identity number, passport.

  1. Rights of Data Owners under the Law 


 By contacting  SmartMessage at any time; 


  • To learn whether your personal data is processed or not,  
  • If your personal data has been processed, to request information about it, 
  • To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,  
  • To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred at home or abroad,  
  • If your personal data is processed incompletely or incorrectly, to request their correction,  
  • Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the Law,  
  • Requesting that the transactions carried out in accordance with subparagraphs (d) and (e) of Article 11 of the Law be notified to third parties to whom your personal data is transferred,  
  • Object to the occurrence of a result against yourself by analyzing your processed data exclusively by means of automated systems, 
  • To request the compensation of the damage in case you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data,

The employee will carry out the requests arising from the Law through the “Relevant Person Application Form”. SmartMessage will conclude application requests free of charge in accordance with Article 13 of the Law, according to the nature of the request and within 30 (thirty) days at the latest. If the request is rejected, the reason(s) of the rejection shall be notified in writing or electronically. 


The employee undertakes that the personal data subject to this Clarification Text are complete, accurate and up-to-date. In the event of any changes to their personal data, they  will be able to request the update of their personal data by informing SmartMessage.  SmartMessage shall have no liability if the Employee has not provided accurate and up-to-date information  . 


This Clarification Text will be effective as of the date of publication by SmartMessage. SmartMessage may make changes to this Clarification Text at any time, if necessary. The changes to be made become effective upon the publication of the Clarification Text on the web address 


















I read the “Clarification Text Regarding the Employees” that I received by hand. Article 11 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”) I have been informed in a clear and understandable manner about my rights listed in the article and how I will use these rights that my personal data will be processed by the Company within the scope of the objectives, methods and legal reasons specified in the Clarification Text, especially within the framework of the principles and obligations in the laws.  Iam aware that it is the responsibility of the employee to obtain explicit consent from the relevant persons to whom I have conveyed information.
